Girl in Kimono

This little reminds me of my brother....yes, I did say brother. I don't know him very well, we are about 20 years apart in age and he was already in the military when I was born. Most of my life he had been stationed in Okinawa and is now retired there. I had thought about asking him to send me a Kimono but I never have.
So as for the card itself, it is another digi image from Mo at digitalpenciltoo.com. Really fun to color and work with. I chose these colors because they seem to be my favorite lately. I love orange.

PRETTY IN PINK

One of my new images from Mo at digitalpenciltoo.com. I love her stuff. These were so cute I couldn't resist. I know I have seen this layout around but where, I don't remember. I am not sure who I will give this to and I will probably end up selling it, my little niece is now 16 and no longer is in dance. Hope you all enjoy this. Believe it or not the brown square in back of the image is really black. My camera didn't do the greatest job, oh well.

My Sugar Bowl Challenge based on a sketch. This is my first card with this cut Gorjuss Girl. I had alot of fun with it. I thought pink was the cute way to go but I am ready to try some new colors. I added some doodling for fun.

Magnolia & Spoon full of Sugar Challenge

Here is my new entry for the VC challenge. We were to use light green, black and white. This image is one of Victoria's new images and I thought it was so cute I had to get it. VC Challenge #11 - Sketch / Copic Challenge #9 Eye coloring

Well, I missed VC's challenge last week so this follows both. I had the image colored in last weeks color challenge and just used this weeks sketch. I like it. I light blue, dark blue and Ivory look great together and being the challenge was over I included green and brown. I don't know if it shows well but I also lightly chalked the raised flowers and greenery in the background. I haven't used my chalks in a while so that was fun.
I also am entering this one for the copic eye color challenge. I love the eyes on this fairy and think they really stand out.

Birthday "Wishes"

I was given some images of "I Dream Of Hanna" back in about April. I remember it was from one of my great Ocean 11 blog team but my memory is going in the old age and can't remember for sure who.
