Hi everyone, It is time for the next KLSNS Challenge. This week the Challenge is Paper Tole Technique. If you are confused, you are not alone. I was not quite sure what that was either. Here is the discription that I got: A duplicate of an image is stamped on a different paper, colored and carefully cut out. This duplicate is then mounted on top of the original with foam mounts, causing it to be raised (3D) and enhancing the natural shape. This is not simply paper piecing... it's popping parts of the image up higher.
Come and join us this week. I would love to see what you come up with. You will have till 2/13/10 at midnight to enter.
NEXT WEEK I WILL BE HOSTING THE CHALLENGE! MAKE SURE TO COME BACK AND JOIN IN.
Simple enough. I think. I have done similar techniques and not known what it was called.
This week I used my new stamp Coffee Kiki. You can purchase it over at KL Store. I had many options for color but I am into the pink and red kick being we are coming close to Valentine's day and the color is just in my head. I hope you like it

Embellishments: Glitter pearls, Heart (KL Stores Buttons)

Awesome, great paper and color choices. And thanks for the definition, I have seen that term and was not sure what it meant. I remember my mom doing similar projects when I was younger and I think she called it something else too.
