Nutcrafter's Wedding Blog Hop

Welcome to my first blog hop with Nutcrafter's I hope you will enjoy this as much as I have.

If you have join me here without starting at the begining you can click here to start there.
If you have arrived form Karen's blog this is the place.

I started this one out with a sketch that I had seen somewhere. I like the use of the different blocks and at first I wanted to go white on white. I didn't really like it and added the pink in with it. I wanted to use the cake most of all. It is great, isn't it.

Now, follow along and see all the creations. Remember to comment on all the blogs for a chance to with great prizes. Your next stop is Tammy.

GOOD LUCK AND ENJOY THE HOP!

Hugs,
Kathy

Nutcrafter Challenge #16/Dots & Stripes

This week over on Nutshells we have another great challenge for you all. This time we are asked to do a card using polka dots and/or stripes. It was great fun. I love dots and stripes so this wasn't much of a "challenge" for me...I use them all the time. This little cutie is from the Nutcrafter site. It is one of my first from them but I love her she makes me think of a retro, hip gal. I hope you all can join us this week. There will be a special mystery prize for this challenge and you will have 2 weeks to enter.

ALSO, WE HAVE A BIG EVENT COMING UP. OUR GREAT BLOG HOP IS COMING UP ON MAY 23. We are having a blog hop to introduce a new set coming soon, so please join up.

Materials:
Stamps: Nutcrafters: Birthday Girl Aster

Local Group FUN

Just thought I would share a card I did for a local group I am in. This months challenge was a card based on a Movie theme. I did this card for the Movie "French Kiss" I know it is somewhat simple but I really liked how it turned out and wanted to share.
